ARCHITECTURAL ELECTROMAGNETIC CLOSERS

The Exidor range features a comprehensive range of electromagnetic closers including overhead closers, transom closers and floor springs.
Designed to either hold the door open or, in swing free mode, allowing the door to be opened with no resistance from the closer. However, when the buildings fire alarm is activated, power is cut to the unit and the closer then shuts the door.

Overhead Electromagnetic Closers

Highly efficient units suitable for use where low opening forces are required. Exidor overhead electromagnetic closers are dual purpose and can be fitted as either in hold open or free swing mode. Matching mechanical overhead closers are also available to complete a suited range.

Electromagnetic Floor Springs and Transom Closers

Both featuring cam action mechanisms and high level weight capacity, Exidor electromagnetic floor springs and transom closers fit discreetly in to the floor or frame offering high level aesthetics. The floor spring is available in both single and double action, whereas the transom closer is available in double action and can take doors up t0 600kg.

Colours & Finishes

Exidor Ltd use epoxy powder coating for all painted surfaces of the overhead door closers to give a quality finish to our products. Standard finish is silver but other popular RAL and HEWI colours, plus old penny bronze are available on request.

Satin and polished stainless steel as well as polished brass, bronze and other plated finishes are also available for the overhead closers.

Exidor’s electromagnetic floor springs are available in a range of finishes including satin and polished stainless steel, polished brass and bronze. They units can be supplied as mechanism only or with a range of matching accessories.
